peacock bass poop after eating hikari pellets

My temensis & mono will accept massivore delite, carnivore pellets, and food sticks from hikari.

Thing is when they eat these things they seem to poop them right back out!

I mean I'll wake up with poop the same color as the pellets.
 
I dont have pbass but my jag and other cichlids poop is the same color as the nls i feed them. It doesnt mean theyre not digesting it though. If you or I were to eat nothing but carrots for a few days Im sure our poop would be orange, so I wouldnt worry about it.
 
I am the hikari sales rep in the northeast... that poop is normal... you will not get any better growth out of your cichlla than with our diets. the best for growth are cichlid bio gold +, followed by massivore, sinking carnivore, food sticks, and sinking cichlid gold
 
ive noticed my oscar's poo is tinted red from eating hikari gold. On the food i think i read it had red food coloring

LOL eat nothing but captain crunch with crunch berries for about 2 days. Poo will scare you :ROFL:
 
You should see 2' and 5 other 15'' Cichla eat to full cups of massivore and the aftermathe of that! Hey look at it like this it only get's better with time I promise. The clean up is the special part of this whole process.
 
I just spent $150 on massivore. It seems everyone of my fish are eating it like pigs now. Hopefully this will last me a few months. I spend more on fish than dog food.

And yeah, the end result is always a mess. My fish usually poop as they eat. They also like to poop about 5 minutes after I clean the tank.
