I need some help w/ my peacock bass. Before i go into detail my water paramaters are 0/0/10, temp at 88, housing 7X2X2, filtered by a 75g w/d sump, XP1 for help with mechanical, and an FBF. Water changes are via 24/7 drip/displacement system w/ a slow drip of prime.
3 peacock bass had died in the past few days, all other fish are perfectly fine (or so it seems)
Symptoms: They were no symptoms until shortly before death. All fish were eating fine and active until a few minutes before they perished.
Noticed first that the bass would hover near the top, and then slowly start to tilt. Fish wish were transfered to the Med tank with the same temp, and treated with salt pending further treatment after diagnosis. Never got to diagnose as the fish died moments later. There were no visible symtoms, no physical damage, eyes were not clouded (fish did have occular response up until the moment he fell), No stress markings and colors were as vibrant as ever.
Does this sound like anything you guys have heard of? Any preventative measures for the other fish?
