I have a 6 inch peacock bass. He has been in my tank for about 7 months. I was wondering what people think I should get to keep with him, or should I leave him alone.

You should keep him with other peacocks. I keep min in groups of minimum 3. I currently keep 5 orinocoensis and 1 monoculus together. Then i have a small mono and a small kelberi growing out. Im awaiting 10 more kels from a friend of min that breeds hers.

Cichlas are very hard to get in my area, but I’ll look around. It took me 4 months to find a cichla and it was an hour away.
If you live in the states. Contact jeff rapps at tangled up in cichlids or rodrigo over at predatory fins. Or you just put up an ad over at the marketplace.

Here in sweden it is quite easy to order species from the cichla genus. Ive bought 5 wc orinocoensis in 2 months now. Smallest around 30cm biggest right around 45cm.

Wouldn't hurt to leave it alone to keep bioload down while it's in the 75- but If you plan to upgrade soon anyway, you could certainly keep more than a single 6" fish in a 75 gallon.
