Peacock Bass Tank Mates???

I have kept my Peacock bass (14 inches) for 3 years now and he lives with 1 Oscar, 1 silver Arowana, a synodontis eruptus catfish and a a Giant Gourami which I had for 6 months (now 9 Inches). The Gourami is starting to attack the bass and he's getting injured when he tries to run! I was thinking about removing the Arowana and gourami and replacing them with 2 peacock bass. Now Last year I attempted to add a another peacock bass and my original almost killed him.Any suggestions on what to do; if I add 2 more peacock bass, will the 3 fight all the time?

3 bass is a good number. Never just 2.

I would try to find equal size bass for tankmates if possible.

How big is the tank?

When you remove the other fish remove some of the decorations as well. Add the other fish right after or during a wc helps also.

I've had success with a rtc and spotted gar with my peacock bass. Both are pretty simple to care for, and the bass never bothers either of them and they don't bother it.
