Hi guys, I got 5 pb in my tank. They are around 4" each.. And I wanna pellet train them, I just got my pellets today, and they are refusing to eat pellets.. Any methods anyone willin to share with me? Their diet now is on market prawns. Thanks!

That sticky at the top of the page with about 10 pages in it is a great place to start! Good Luck!

Avoid pellets, try Hikari Mini Carni Sticks. For some reason they seem to hit on those quicker than pellets......Good luck.

Ey, I think u got it easy man! They're already on shrimp! The tough one is getting them.to pellets from live.

A great method for u would be to stuff the shrimp with the pellets. Do it for a week. Then gradually lessen the amount of shrimp to the point where the shrimp is barely covering the pellet. Eventually stop that give them 2 days without any food. Then try dropping in just pellets. If they don't take it, keep offering them pellets only for a max of 4 days. If she still don't take it, Go back to stuffing the shrimp.

I got my 2 inch tems to eat pellets in a day, all you have to do is stop feeding them shrimp completely and start feeding crushed pellets and they will get hungry enough to start eating them.

Usually I will train mine to take frozen blood worms 1st, then i'll use tetra bits sinking (cause they are small and look like minced frozen bloodworm) concurrently with the frozen bloodworm. after they completely switched over to the tetra bits, then i will switch them over to the bigger pellets. hope it helps :D
