Peacock bass weird silver spot

It could be heater burn that what it looks like to me if it is not getting worse.

It does but the fish would have had to be in an odd position for it to be burned there.....perhaps the heater was in a horizontal position?

I thought it was a wound from the pleco or a heater burn at first too, but then it grew steadily to that size, stopped and now today its shrinking again. I think for now I'm just gonna keep doing what Im doing, chalk it up to a weird peacock bass thing and keep my fingers crossed it continues shrinking.
