In case you haven't read my other thread, I caught my 13 inch female peacock bass to cut off a bump she had growing on her bottom upper lip that was now causing problems with her mouth. Surgery went well, but ever since she's had blisters on her face that have spread. And now they are a bit on her eyes, and on her fins I've noticed 3 or four visible white bumps or growths in a row on the side facing backwards. This is what's worrying me, the bump inside her lip started as white and didn't get bad for forever. Dosed tank with API stress coat, may see a slight improvement in blisters but maybe not. This has been goin on for over a month. If one more dose of API doesn't help I am going to quarantine. What could this be? She eats half assed and her distinct spots are fading. Sometimes tries to scratch herself in an impeller. There is a bit of brown growth starting on the inside of her mouth again too. Tried general cure, melafix, pimafix.

Think so? Again it's been over a month, it hasn't gotten too much worse, like they appeared right after the surgery maybe a week tops. Doesn't seem to affect the fish as bad a I've seen pictures of columnaris effecting them, and doesn't look as bad either. Again more like a blister, some even look like fat deposits. I will look further into columnaris though thank you very much, some symptoms certainly fit.

Guy at store got me to buy some metro + to treat for hole in the head, I don't think that's what it is for some reasons, though there are small pin prick holes in the lesions.

Guy seemed pretty keen on it bring hole in the head. Doesn't explain the egg like white bumps on her fins does it? What else should I try? Got a 3x1x1 quarantine tank running, doses with salt stress coat and metro+, got you old aquariums aquaclear 110 along with a heater and an air stone. Waiting another little but for a cycle then sticking her in there.

Figured, wasted 15 bucks and time treating, but oh we'll, maybe it will work on a different level. What's the suggestion for next treatment now that quarantine is up and running.
