ok so ive done some searching but did not find my anwer. i am big on cichlids but never really looked into bass untill now. from what ive seen there alot different than most cichlids. ive noticed most people have groups of them instead of solo like my midas. do they like to be in groups? are they not aggresive towards other fish? do they have personalties like a midas. will they come up to the glass when i come into the room. i enjoy having a cichlid that acts like a dog. im planing on getting a bigger tank but right now i have a 75 gallon. how long will i be able to house say 3 cichla in there before there to big? any info will be appreciated, thanks:D

3 bass in a 75gal, would last about 6 months. It all depends how much you feed them to, if you power feed the bass, 6 months or less.

I like them in groups... They seem to be good :) 3 in a 75 :iagree: Possible a year but it depends on Specie/food/rate of food/water..... Orinos would last at LEAST a year if bougth between 3"-6" In my opinion and others like Kelberi may last longer...

I love mine!! I was going to sell them and Thank GOODNESS it Flaked!!!

MIne are very interactive...

groups better...they do better in groups...they like each others company...
after they bypass the skittish stage, which can sometimes be pretty long...,they are your typical glassbanger when theyre hungry...which is always. :D
they definitely have personalities and act like dogs. :D
they are aggressive towards other fish, but its usually towards other bass and rarely or never get anything serious.

i think they are somewhat like a easygoing oscar but not so hyper but are deffinetly like a dog

And you can take a shower when you are feeding them.

usually monos or ocels, sometimes orinos and tems and rarely anything different. hybrids too.
