I've got a 6 mo. old peacock bass in a 300 gallon tank with a silver arrowana & an oscar & dempsey. Is my tank big enough to keep these fish for the life of these fish?

how wide is the tank .. that is going to be the only thing that could be a problem .. and depends on the type of Pbass .. you could be looking at 30" with the arowana tho

Not even close in my opinion (but opinions vary!).

I think the questions you need to ask yourself is exactly what quality of life is appropriate for your fish, and exactly what is needed to achieve that quality?

oh boy I just lookd at my post. Sorry I ment to say

I think you are fine but what are the demintions of your tank? and if you could post a pic of the bass that would help greatly

dimensions of my tank 8ft. by 24in. high by 30 in. wide. I'm not sure what specific strain he is, greenish gold body red on tail & pectoril fins black vertical bars,&black horizantal bar turning into a spot on the tail horizantal bar outside bordered in bright yellow

pic would make ID much easier, short of that i dont see anyone on here being able to conclusively ID a p.bass from a description :P
