My husband has 6 peacock bass and all of them eat very well (rosy red minnows) the problem is that they are all growing well and producing some very nice coloration except one. The other 5 has past him way up in size. He is probably about 2.5in and the others are about 4.5 and 5 in. Is there something I can do to beef him up so he doesn't become food for siblings?

Probably a runt. Bet he either be tough n smart or future dinner. Could always through him in Molly tank for a month or so? He might find his niche in rbp tank? Or maybe someone close to springfield mo wants a peacock bass? Cl momma fish keeper.

Feed him some Hikari Sinking Carnivore. It will help him grow, immensely.
Even thou pellets are great for bass, the runt still won't grow if it's not eating.

OP, get a divider for your tank and power feed the runt.
