Alright, thanks man. I'm gonna be building a 225 soon b/c that's all I have the room for right now. My LFS has some 4" ones for sale so I guess they'd be good in a tank like that for a while. How many do you have in your tank? I'll have a much bigger tank 4-5 years down the road after I move...DIESELMACK;1213976; said:very big..my large tank is 6ft long x 4ft wide x 3ft tall and is too small for how many I have in there....you can grow some up for years in smaller tanks but once they hit 20"+ you will have to reduce down to a pair and even with 2 you will need a big tank with at "least" a 4ft width or flood your room with one tail swipe at the surface...lol you can do it in smaller(by small I am talking 300gal)tanks,but ideally to view your fish being able to swim with speed ect you will definately need a tank with alot of room......but again if you are buying young ones to raise up you wouldnt need such a large tank untill maybe 4-5 yrs down the road![]()

in the big tank there are currently 9....in the 265 are the 2 big breeders...and some misc in smaller in 220gals.Davey_8313;1214035; said:How many do you have in your tank? I'll have a much bigger tank 4-5 years down the road after I move...![]()
