My walteri peacock pair caught me by surprise yesterday. I didn't think they were old enough yet to reproduce but I found two fry in the tank when I turned the light on yesterday morning. Sadly, when I checked after work they were no where to be found. Will the parents eat them? The only other fish in there is a one inch lwanda peacock? I want to be prepared in case it happens again.

wow.you never noticed she was holding?if you saw them free swimming then chances are its been a while since they were born
The parents have a cave and have been spending a lot of time in there. Still are. I moved the cave to find the fry and had no luck. Next time I'll try to do a better job, but I swear I didn't see them until the other morning. They weren't that big.
