Good question... But sadly there is no real for sure size. I tend to have males trying at sizes ~2.5 inches. The smallest female was also ~2.5 inches, though usually more about 3 inches.
I ve had a paird breed twice a 2 inches. I dont think there is a distinct breeding size for them. They are very easy fish to breed all you need is the right water and temperature.
