not where I'm supposed to be
 my breeding 500's died last night. werent bloated, colors were good, breathing fine. the female started releasing the fry and I saw the male upside down in the corner. Wake up this morning and the female is dead. She released about 15-20 from what Ive seen and some have died off.
Dont know any measurments except temp was about 75-79. So now Im hopeing the fry make it.

Guess Ill grow the survivors out and hopefully find another pr sooner or later.

That suck sorry for the loss. It always sucks to loose any fish.

That stinks, that always sux to lose fish. I lost a breeding pair my self recently ;_; it really stinks! Anyways I wish you luck with the rest of your fry!

good luck growing the babies

I'd test your water. Two healthy, breeding fish suddenly dying basically at the same time, is not just a coincidence.

Sorry to hear that :(

 Experienced a powerfailure the other day and by the time I arived home, about 3hrs later, found my wild caughts battling. Rushed off to but battery operated air pumps and by the time I had air pumping I had lost 5 fish. Male Lab fuelleborni, Ps daktari, 2x Ps elongatus chewere and a Cyn. mbamba mphanga. The Lab and Cyn were breeding males. Power was eventually restored 7hrs after going off. Luckily lost no other fish. Now have battery air pumps with two sets of rechargable batteries for all the tanks.
I wouls most definitely do a complete check on my water. Good luck on growing the babies. A loss of a fish is not great even though we know it will happen at some time or another. :naughty: :woot: :clap :headbang2
