Peacock Eel and Blacklight

I've looked around and couldn't find anything on this. Are there any health risks for a peacock eel if I install a blacklight bulb to turn on at night? Don't know if it messes with their eyesight or their day/night cycle.

i have moon lights dont think there is much of a difference peacock eel dosent seem to mind

could i do this with my tire track eel?

"aquarium moonlights" are fine. blacklights are not. i wanted to do this and i asked my old biology professor about it and he thought it might screw up their eyesight.
