Hi, I have 2 peacock eels that i just bought today and they are in my 75g tank along my other fish (check signature).
Do the peacocks eat live fish just like the tiretracks and fire eel? And how many inches do they get in adult size?

From what i read it say's about 8 to 10 inches but my brother has 2 and 1 of them is about 13 inches about 6 year's old. They don't eat fish mine will only eat blood worm or earth worm's.

The ones i cought were about 18-20".. I guess they grow bigger in the wild..

What do you normally feed them, or maybe its not a peacock eel?

i had one. it was 6''. sadlly it died cuz i couldnt get it to eat anything. also make sure it is on a sandy bottom. they like to borrow. mine was in gravel, it borrowed and was all cut up. good luck

Are tiretracks and fire eels the only spiny eels that eat fish?

Most spiny eels will eat fish if they can catch them. My friend's peacock eels would only eat really small fry though since peacock eels have fairly small mouths. You will have no problem mixing your peacock eels with the fish in your sig.

Like i said they were wild caught.. I ate them by the way.. Try feeding them blood worms.. They r a bit stubborn when it comes to eating.. Put the food in for them at night. It should work..
