Yes she swims all over. She likes to hide in the plants though. I have several caves and dense plants for her to hide in. She is in a 125gal with a black aro, discus, black phantom tetras, and a few small plecos.
I want to breed them but finding a male is becoming impossible. I had 2 females but lost one. It never really took to eating prepped foods. I couldn't catch it in the planted 125 to try and break it in a smaller set up. Have not seen many here or any males.
I am thinking of setting up a 10gal planted for a few of them. Love these little fish.

Remind me of the bullheads(motled sculpin) I had for a while in a 20gal. I like little scooter fish like that! Your gudgeon has a lot of color! My lfs had a tank full of those but not as colorful by any means. A little green and blues speckles but mostly tanish grey look. Cool fish man... if you don't mind, what kind of substrate is in those pictures?
