I separated a female peacock that was holding to a ten gallon tank. Tonight I noticed 2 of the fry in the tank but she still seems to have more in her mouth. Should I just let nature take it's course and see if she releases the rest or should I attempt to strip her? I want the fry to survive but I want to know if she will peacefully stay in there with them as she recovers before going back in the 75.

Strip her. Once the fry are free swimming they are hardy. I like to have all my africans hold till they are either wigglers or free swimming.

I ended up stripping her just now. I have 27 babies!! I thought that was all but when I put her back in the 75 she released 4 more and they got eaten by the other peacocks. She's doing fine in the 75, even chasing some of the other peacocks around. She seems to have gotten very aggressive.
