This peacock is at my LFS it is currently in a hospital tank cause it got beat up by a red terror. That is why it say NFS. It looks about 5" can someone please ID. Sorry the pics aren't so good it is on a bottom tank but is hanging out at the top of the tank so it was hard to get a good angle on it.

I am also wondering are they aggressive like territorial or do they just eat what ever fits in their mouth and leave everything else along. Also what is there growth rate like?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

I decided not to get it after some quick reading. I thought they got big like 125 gallon big not 300 gallon big. Some of the sights a saw said 70 gallon is enough but then say they grow to 30" lol. Not ready fro a fish that big yet.

would still like to know what kind it is if anyone knows.

Not sure what kind it is. But about a month ago I gave away my pb. Got him 3 months ago at 2". Sucker shot out to 6". He would eat anything in site. One day I noticed he ate one of my fish in my 240. Which I don't know. But here's a pic of his stomach cause he bellied out the next morning. Thinking he ate one of my fish. Aggression wise he wasn't bad. The only fish he would pick on was my Flagtail Prochilodus. But it was just chasing him. Pb are not aggressive just towards each other. To others, they will each before being aggressive, lol.

The one in the pic looks like an occelaris. A 125 gallon for that fish looks to be 7" or so would last around a year and a half to 2 years. If you could find some orino's then they can live much longer in a 125 and possibly breed in one
