Peacock ID please

Was hoping someone could ID this Peacock for me. Its at the LFS was sold to the owner as a azul.... obviously it isn't. Its about 6-8" long idk enough about them to positively ID one though. I would like him for my 1500gal but just want to make sure he is worth what they are askin $80. Thanks

Mono...definitely NOT Azul. Hard for me to say what it'd be worth but I live in the midwest (sorta) and you don't see much cichla around here. To me I'd say no more than $40 though, obviously the guy doesn't know anything about cichla and it could just be a farmy or something.
 
Well personally no more than 20 bucks...it really depends on the quality of the specimen...whether its wc n how much it appeals to me. Id pay up to 125 for a good looking peru mono anyday
 
I got some great looking monos for $30, but that was almost too much for me to spend. I would move on and look for another at a more reasonable price.
 
Thanks guys. He will adjust the price. He got it as a trade in for a big frontosa. The guy said he bought it for $125. I didn't think it was worth anywhere near that. He listed as $80 but asked me to get a positive ID so he can fairly price it. He's a pretty fair guy. I'll let ya know if I get it. Thanks for the help
