Peacock ID

Anyone know what kind of peacock this is? I thought it was a red shoulder but I could be wrong. It was sold to me as an unknown as it came in with some mbuna at a store down here. I've been trying to ID him for awhile now, but now that the fryeri is out of the tank his colors are coming in . Tell me what you think.

looks like a electric blue haps or red should peacock because i see some hint of red on their should but Im 98% sure as of right now its a electric blue hap

Always assume it's a hybrid unless you're buying from a reputable source.

I'm sure he could be a hybrid, I was just seeing what he looked the closest to. I'm positive it's not an electric blue hap, I've got an f1 fryeri and they look nothing alike. He's for sure a peacock. I'm just excited he's coloring up, I'll wait a couple of weeks and see what he looks like.

Think he could be a regal peacock? The blue color is getting more intense with black edges. Very pretty fish, to bad it will probably fade when the fryeri goes back in .
