Just got a peacock bass, any idea estimated how long it took to train it to take pellets? Pellets are Tetra monster pellets. Thanks.

What kind of peacock bass?
I would say it is very very difficult to train them to eat pellets but my kelberi seems to take pellets that I feed after a few days of buying it

What you can do is fatten the peacock up first then try to feed him only pellets. do keep a close eye out for a sunken belly. eating the pellet and spitting is a good sign, just wait abit more. Good luck

id get rid of that red tail" buy few geo"s (south American cichlids) that feed well on pellets and not aggressive! Bass will soon get into swing of feeding on pellets!

hikari massivore are the best bud :)

Use gangsters "pellets to bloodworms" method. WOrks every time! And that kelberi is soon to be eaten by your rtc.
