hi. im starting a peacock and hap tank and everytime i add my hybrid peacock into my tank he start fighting and chaseing all my fish and him and my tangering lock jaws think i should let them fight it out?

IME Hybrids are very aggressive as they get older. You may have to seperate him from the rest of the peas.

This type of thing is normal when a dominant fish enters a new tank. If you have enough fish the situation often resolves itself. Be sure to have hiding places and a lot of fish so that the aggression is distributed among many. I have a hap who killed several peacocks, so if things go south you may have to remove or replace a fish.

I have tried all of these methods, moved the rocks around, took out rocks, removed the aggressive fish for a day or 2, added more fish (helped)... I eventually took all the rocks out so they had nothing to fight over and then added a few rocks back into the tank. This really helped. I also had a problem with a hybrid so I went out and bought a fish that was bigger than he was.
