Peacocks

How do you guys keep peacocks from cross breeding? From what I understand alot of female peacocks look similar, and they are hard to tell what species they are.

A lot of people either do species tanks, all male tanks, or use crosses as fish food

Species only tank... really the only way you can gurantee it won't happen if you are looking to breed. If you don't want to breed than a male only tank is the way to go.

That sounds like the best advice.

Yep species only. Maybe one or two OB females. But, if they spawn pull the female to be sure its fry doesn't get mixed in with the pure fry.
