Pearl pups blood worms question

I couldn't find much information on this online so I wanted to ask if anyone had difficulty getting their pups to eat something other than blood worms. I've only had these pups for a little while but it seems thats all they eat so far. Thanks in advance

Some keepers have recommended ghost shrimp or live earthworms.

All of mine start on frozen bloodworms and brine/mysis shrimp. Then right to nightcrawlers/redworms. Then onto all normal adult foods.

Could you tell me roughly when they were switched? Also, was it gradual or did they instantly start taking them?

Newborns are usually on the frozen foods for only a week or 2 before they take worms. I do redworms first as they are smaller, then to crawlers once they eat more aggressively. U have to chop both up into tiny pcs that fit in their mouths. Most of my pups take to them immediately. Getting them off worms to shrimp, tilapia, etc takes some time.
