Pearsei and plants

When I had pearsei, they ate all plants, (I never tried java moss though)
like their close cousin bocourti.
My bocourti reduced this papyrus plant to a nub, the root system was almost 2 feet across the stems 3 ft tall, and they even eat driftwood.

Yes. He'll eat any plant. But, try. Maybe yours is different. Try anubias, too.

Maybe, if you give them a constant supply of more desirable veggies, they will leave the java moss alone.
In summer I drop in weeds from my yard, and they really like most of them.

Just wanted to see what you guys thought...he probably will destroy it as he goes insame anytime something green eneters the tank....even tried to eat some new fake plants

Might give the anubis a try....think java fern has a shot ?
