I bought these three fish maybe 4 months ago. Was supposed to be a Bocourti, Pearsei and Regani.

I Know none are Regani, but of the three are any Pearsei or are they all Bocourti? Any thoughts or advice on how to identify at this stage? Thanks for any help on their true identity.

They do look like they are more bocourti than any of the others you mention.
Here are some of mine at different ages to compare.
I feed a mainly vegetarian diet, which may have an effect on color.
when young, and when I first get them

older

here is a regani to compare

Duanes would be the one to know. But herey juvie pearsei for reference

Note the difference of the main blotch.
Jaws777s pearsei blotch is mid body, and there is basically one large one.
The bocourti blotche(s) are set more posterior on the body, and when present(not always), there are more than one (3 on my bocourti)

Thanks for the help and photos! Had them all figured for Bocourti but was hoping for one Pearsei. Guess I'll have to track another down, I already did in regards to the Regani. They are still only in the 3-4inch range and have a long way to go.
