I've noticed lately that lot of people are using these as their substrate and I like the look. Is anyone having problems such as vaccuming being a pain or lots of waste getting trapped down there? Any algae trouble coating the rocks? I'm setting up a 460gal. and can't decide on a substrate.

There is more space between the rocks than normal gravel so stuff does get trapped. I vacuum mine every time I do a water change which is every week or so. I have a python hooked up to the sink so it performs double duty to empty and vacuum the tank. If you have the lights on all the time, there does tend to be algae buildup on the top of them. I have some plecos in the tank that take care of that though.
