I noticed the last few days my Broko ocellaris has been clamping 1 of its pectoral fins to its body. It is acting normal , and still eating like a pig. No sign of disease. Coloring looks great.

What is causing this ?

Possably just not feeling confident will cause this sometimes ......But no sign does not mean no disease check your temps and every thing can't remember did yours have ick? if so the cycle of ick is app. two weeks so might not be quite done....

Happens sometimes in my mbuna tank when the males get too rough with the females.
If no other fish has clamped fins or anything, then it most likely is just an injury and will heal fine in a couple days

Yeah I had the ich.

It has disappeared as of about 2 weeks ago due to my 1 week of 90.5 degree temps with 1 tablespoon of salt to 5 gallons of water ratio.

I did notice that 1 clamped fin had new tears after I looked closely at it. I think either the satanoperca deamon or the oscar may have popped him.

The satanoperca deamon(earth eater) is very aggressive towards both my pecock bass and nobody else in the tank. Broko bass actually runs from that fish.

I would say it'll get better, but if hes getting picked on by your eartheater he might not, in addition you might have an ich relapse. I'd change the tank around (decorations, plants etc) give them plenty of clean water and watch closely. Might have to separate them. If the peacock is constantly harassed he'll succumb to illness pretty easily in addition to not healing and possibly getting more injuries.

Lets just say earth eater is gone tomorrow along with mr oscar.

My Broko is to valuable to be lost to an $8 fish (earth eater) or $10 fish (oscar).

Probably for the best. I've tried many times to house certain fish together and some combos just don't work, no matter how much I want them too. Without stress he should heal pretty quickly. Good luck.
