do pectoral fin grow back? i just bought a Ps zebra and it ripped the pectoral fin off of my Ps acei. will it grow back? it was ripped completely off

If it was torn off at the base it won't grow back, it's like loosing an eye.

It might. i would quarantine the fish for one week, and let him recover. I adopted a peacock (cichlid) with one eye almost torn off. the skin was peeling around the eye, the eye was this opaque white, and his fins were torn to shreds. i left him for three weeks in my quarantine tank, and you never would have known now that he was ever anything less than perfect. try it.

I've heard if it's torn off right from the base, it won't grow back. But if you can see a slight bit left there sticking out, it will.
