Peeling RD/Amph Thoughts?

Just purchased this girl (confirmed via venting) from a large assorted RD/Midas tank from my LFS. She's around 5+ inches, and seemingly in very good health. In the past, I've never owned any type of Amph that peeled so late. Usually they turn orange by 2-3". Anyways, would love some feedback on the peeling process, as well as what you'd expect her to look like once this process is over. I've kept MANY Amphs over the years, but never one to peel at such a large size. Thoughts/opinions would be extremely appreciated. Thanks!

Kind of looks like a red terror hybrid or something fishy to me.

Agree. I’m just curious as to whether it is in fact fading, or if this is going to be its bizarre color form.

Most Nicaraguan Amphilophines have many color forms, the pinkish form popular in aquariums may not be the most common form in nature, so other color morphs are not bazaar at all..

Agree. As I said, I’m just curious to see if all of you think this fish is indeed fading, or will likely retain its current coloration. Thanks!
