Peeling?

Not sure if this should go in here or the media section, but I'd like some input as to whether or not this RT is peeling. Maybe its just wishful thinking but there is a little bit of orange by the mouth, is that the beginning? Or maybe just the flash.

I don't have a ruler but I think he is about 3" if that helps.

I don't know much about it myself, but I think its when the color starts to change.

A lot of the hybrids will 'peel' my RT started around 12-15cm.

It is not too small to peel/fade. I have a BD/SRT that just faded at 1.5". He was mostly blue and is now white with iridescent pearls. In my experience (I have now owned three faders), they turn black either completely or in large patches. The black then peels/fades and a different color is revealed.
