What species is a pekin knive and for that matter, what the name of the dragon knive. Any info appreciated because I've never kept one before. I am now interested.

Apteronotus Anas Eigenmann is the scientific name for a Dragon Knife, but I've never heard of a Pekin Knife

I've never heard of a pekin knive until today. It comes from Peru and reminds me of a dragon knife. Thank you by the way. Now I can research some info.

Pekin, (which I have seen called white dragon knives in japan) are usually the species Compsaraia compsa. And the scientific name for A. Anas is now Parapteronotus hasemani, which are often referred to commonly as duck or dragon knives.
