I have been wanting to get my rays on some pellet foods and I am stuck between 3 options. Hikari massivore, hikari carnivore, and New Life Spectrum Mega Fish Formula. NLS is sold at a better price, higher quantity and from what I read is much healthier for fish. So why is everybody choosing massivore? NLS actually is marketing this food for rays and catfish which is prefect for my tank but I can't actually find anyone who uses it. Any information would be helpful, if anybody has experience with both please give a review so I can finally make a decision. Thank-you

Nls 10mm pellets are very hard to get rays to eat. Massivore is easily accepted by fish and rays, I have had better luck with the 6mm pellets by nls.

I had a 10" male Motoro that loved NLS. He had previously been on massivore but he made the switch on day two. I fed Thera A 6mm to him. My vote is NLS for sure;)

Thanks its good to hear that people have gotten their rays on NLS. Makes me more comfortable before ordering a 1.88kg bucket from big als. Hopefully my rays accept it without a hassle.

I feed Hikari sinking carnivore. If you buy the NLS, you might want to buy a small quantity first to make sure they will eat it before buying the bucket.

I would start on hikari then try other pellets

Hikari is addictive and I'm sure it has drugs in as fish can't resist it lol

Try hikari massivore carnivore sturgeon med size and hikari sinking cichlid gold also med size mix it all up in one tub
