Pellet train an RTC?

I have a 6 inch RTC and I've been trying to feed him Hikari carnivore and he doesn't even pay attention to them. One or three will land on his nose and he'll just sit there like it's just water. Any methods out there? I don't really like the idea of constantly feeding market shrimp and tilapia to him, it's pretty expensive.

carnivore pellets will get way more expensive than shrimp and tilapia lol!
if you really want to though, put the pellets inside the shrimp or fillet.

Lol I know, I'm just trying to get him to get the general idea of eating pellets.
