Pellet training a peacock bass

I just got my 3" pbass last week. Right now he is eating mainly black worms, but from time to time blood worms. I tried to put a few hikari gold pellets in but he continued to spit them out. How do I get him to eat pellets only?

Soak the pellets in the worms and slowly decrease the number of worms until its just pellets

what cullens089 said sounds like it would work. my wildcaught bluegill wouldnt eat anything unless it was live. i held off on feeding for a few days... tossed some pellets in, and since havent had issues with pellets or live fish
