So far I've been feeding my 9" tig nightcrawlers but would really like to get him on pellets. So far he shows no interest at all in them. He's way too skinny to try starving right now. I'm planning on feeding him nightcrawlers until he gets back up to a healthy weight. Also are there any better foods to help him pack on some weight? I want to powerfeed him like my pbass but I'm using all my self control to keep it to two worms a day, one in the morning one before bed. I've heard the smaller ones die from overfeeding. I just wanted to know if there are any tips to get them on pellets?

Also off topic but is there an easy way to get his tail trailers to grow back straight? his bottom trailer got damaged somehow before I got him and now its growing back at more then a 90 deggree angle. I'm thinking I could trim it with some sharp nail clippers and it might grow back looking more normal. Should I trim it close to the tail so it all grows back as one. Thanks

I'm wondering the same thing. Mine is about 7" or so and he loves blood worms and an occasional minnow. Shows no interest in carnivore sinking pellets or massivore . He also has a crimp in his top trailer and was thinking about trimming it as well. -GL with yours.

Ive not got one yet but will be getting a small one soon so would also like to know the answers to the above.

Anyone? I'd like to get one also but really don't want to be putting live feeders in to my tank. Thanks.
