Just wanna share this with all peacock bass lovers. I'm sure ppl have tried this but I don't hear much or read much about it. Maybe I'm just lucky but it has been successful for me many times whenever I buy baby bass at around 2-3inch that are not pellet trained. New bass will not eat for the first day-3days. Wut I do is crush up some dry shrimp/krills. They have worked very well for me. Once they start eating that then throw in some small crushed pellets In with it. Within a couple days they will start to eat the pellets also. I recently bought 4 Orino about 4days ago and 3 of them are eating pellets with this method. Def way better then have to go buy black worms And try for weeks or months. Hope this can help everyone out.

i was also told when ya get them when there small that you add a couple other fish that cant get ate by them of coarse that eat pellets in the tank with your bbass and then feed just strckly pellets and eventually thy will learn and see the others eating pellets and start eating them, heard it takes maybe 2-3weeks ? for some, this is what im trying as mine is one heck of a picky eater

I've try the krill then pellets on 3 different group of pbass all at 2inches. Took no more then a week. But ur way also works as long as ur other Bass don't eat them or beat them up. I just think its much easier to just try the krill. Trust me they will eat them within 2-3 days. Once they start eating that about 2 days after they will start to eat pellets also.

I just feed my bass what ever they want to eat.
