I have had my blythii for about a month now. Its my first one. Mines was on a 100% cricket diet at the store. When I brought it home it ate 1 cricket and 1 hikari stick. Then it didnt eat for 2 weeks. I kept trying to feed it more crickets and hikari sticks but it didnt eat anymore of either for 2 weeks. I finally dropped in broken bite sized pieces to my archer and it finally started eating again. Since then I've been feeding as much krill as it wants to eat. I'm throwing in hikari sticks along with the krill and he eats them now too. Right now he eats about 75% krill and 25% pellets. Freeze dried krill was the "bridge" food to get him onto pellets. Occasionally he eats the hikari excel thats intended for my red hooks. Hope this helps. Good luck.

i have 8 ...4 about 5 inches and 4 i just picked up at 3 inches. the big ones are a pain wont take anything with much success....if they are extremely hungry krill is prefered over pellets and I still think ony 2 take them. So i ordered freeze dried mealworms from kens fisfood and they love them. the smaller ones willtake hikari stcks broken up but arent happy about it but are all ok with krill.

they all take frozen blood worms so I was soaking pellets with froz bloodworms and they ( biggerones) were taking them ok but much fatter and happier with the freeze dried mealworms.

not sure if this helps but overall they seem picky.

conversely mount prion has four that take pellets no probem.

good luck

Those kens fish food, freeze dried mealworms youre talking about sound good. I think im going to order some for mines and add them to his diet. Variety is good. thanks.

I finally dropped in broken bite sized pieces (of freeze dried krill) to my archer and it finally started eating again.
sorry. I forgot a few words in that sentence.

Mines take anything from sinking carnis to freeze dried bloodworms

Arowana looks like in the pics that it looks a little stressed. The bunch that I got seems to be kinda finicky on their water params, so I do 50% WC every 3 days or so.
