I am feeding hikari food sticks to my azuls. They are about 5inches. I noticed that there is a lot of red/orange coloration on the fins. Shouldn’t this be blue? Is it because of the hikari food sticks?

Your fish is still a juvenile, as it matures the red will fade and will turn blue. Depending on were your fish came from the markings will vary. My Azul looked the same at that size.
Thanks dude appreciate that reply. Do all azuls have 5 vertical lines? I see mine has three and I’ve seen a large Azul with 3 lines. A bit confusing

Bars can fade in and out on the mood of the fish . Give the little guy some time. Mine will have the 3 bars one day and then other days you can see faint bars in-between the 3 dark bars. I did have the other little azul turn orange brown on me and is really spotting up and is the biggest grow out now about twice as big as the other grow outs. Another tem.just my luck.lol

Those pics are about 2weeks old. I finally got that Azule to eat pellets and other foods besides earth worms or my livebaer's .
He was eating like a bird, now he's a pig??
PS.. You have a nice looking Azule .?

Well they are both Azule ones just brown for now. We just got to wait for them to get bigger.
