I bought some pellets for flowerhorn about 6 months ago 550 g grand sumo and red. The red top was fine but the regular had a crack in the top it was still sealed fine but I’m sure air could get into it more so than the not cracked one the fish still eat it fine and it doesn’t look or smell any different than when I bought it I just want to make sure that it would still be nutritious for the fish.

I would not worry about it.

On the subject of pellets going bad, is it ok to feed expired pellets?
I've a pack that has expired (one year) and didn't notice it until now..
It was tightly sealed..

In the warm & humid temps of Malaysia, I would toss it, even if it was a sealed unopened container. You can give it the sniff test to determine if it has become rancid, but personally I wouldn't bother. There will be nutrient loss either way.
