I've been thinking about trying to switch my VATF and others from feeders to massivores but when I tried before, my ATF would not touch the pellets, only bloodworms and frozen shrimp. I got sick of trying to force the pellets on him so I went back to feeders. It seems to me that he is growing faster on the feeders than the prepared food.

Do you think that fish, ATF's in particular will grow faster on Feeders or massivore pellets/bloodworms

You were half way there with the bloodworms and shrimp. I got mine eating pellets, fish chunks and blood worms. I soak the pellets a little bit before I feed it. That way it won't be so hard for them to get down. I give live feeders once in a while (maybe once a month) but the staple is fish chunks and pellets.

you never find a food that is more nutritous than a good quality live feeder.

Variety is the key. I personally don't feed feeders for various reasons. I feed my ATF fish chunks, prawn and various inverts a current favourite being dried mealworms. I also include massivores as I believe manufactured foods contain a good balance of nutrients that may be lacking in the other foods. My vit is now 15"

Carnivorous are meant to be fed with live food, imo.
It's like asking a lion to eat vege, if atf are fed on pellets.

That's not quite true. Carnivour pellets are designed to replicate meaty foods so are not like feeding a lion veg, more like a chunk of dried meat. Lots of predators including ATF are also scavengers. It's alot easier to catch a dead fish than a live one.
