pellets seem too large?

I have 3 juvi silver aros. They are currently eating FDBW and hikari food sticks.

So the food sticks are pretty short, only like 2 cm, but they still seem large for the little guys, the largest of the group will eat one pellet, and even for him it looks large, can they choke on these things? Also, the smaller ones will bite the sticks and spit them out, so I have resorted to breaking them in half and for the smaller pair, they still seem kinda large. Is there a smaller pellet to try for them?

Hikari food sticks soften up in the water. I don't think they will choke on them, they should be able to break them up fairly well.

There isn't a smaller version of the food stick. You could try the mini pellet form of Hikari Chiclid Bio-Gold+ if you wanted to stick with Hikari.

You could also break the sticks in half, but might be a bit tedious...

They should be fine once the sticks soften up.

soak them prior (like a minute) and dump them in.. should be ok..
