I know you guys see threads like this but I would like to know how do you guys get your fish on pellets? My red devil has only ate nightcrawlers, feeders, and wax worms. I just bought some omega one pellets my local LFS doesn't sell NLS which is what I wanted. Any tips should I starve them? Afraid the red devil might go on a killing spree tho if do ?. 75 gallon Red devil, Rainbow shark, and one Venezuelan pike .

Starving may be problematic if the others can’t be moved... fish like to get mean when they are starved.
You can try stuffing pellets into the food to see if that gets him interested?

Yeah the others can't be moved I'm in a sticky situation. Ima just starve them and introduce them slowly to pellets .. the red devil actually ate one but the pike isn't messing with it

Once one of the fish starts to take pellets, the others will follow. A 6" fish can be starved for about 1 month. That's what my pike did before taking pellets. Pikes shouldn't be fed pellets more than once a week once you train them. Whole fish like frozen silversides or freeze dried krill should be put into rotation. They tend to get fat on pellets.
