These are some of my freehand pencil drawings from the past...the latest was the Medusa which I drew it for myself to prove to myself that I can still draw, that was 2 years ago. Before Medusa it was about 10+ years since I stopped.

I didn't shade as much as I was into drawing comic books. I told Gruff Master that his avatar always takes me back to my comic book days so told him I'll post my drawings too. Thanks Gruff Master

I had to edit this for Myspace back in the days even though she wasn't nude. Comic books don't have nudity. I have to dig my hard drive for more...

sweet dude, i'm a bit of an artist myself, love the second one

would've loved it more without the edit, lol but still legit

they look incomplete though, was that the look you were going for?

i was also inspired by comic book art. man, i used to have a folder where i kept all my sketches, it's been gone for years now. i did draw a poster size pic of the comic character The Pitt. I'll try to post it up

Very very nice work, Calihawk! I'm glad my quick sketches inspired you to pick up your pencils again. You should definitely keep at it. You are very talented. Build a portfolio of some characters of the BIG comic companies and take them to some conventions. I'm sure you will get a lot of positive feedback. Maybe you and I will work together on a comic someday. I'm in the process of getting my work photographed so that I can add more to my website and have the ability to make prints. Thanks for sharing!

Nice work cali. I went to college for art but abandoned all my drawings. Kinda lost the pasion for it.

Yes, I'll try to get some up later tonight if Cali doesn't mind. I don't want to hijack his thread. I'm about to step out for a few hours. When I return I'll look for some things that I can post.

Hahaha, Heck No I dont mind...as a matter of fact let this be the thread for art drawings. If we can keep it to pencil or ink comic book style drawings would be nice. It could get outta hand with Picasso's and Abstract type art.

The drawings are incomplete because they are not landscape drawings. And usually the penciler just do this and ink and color is added.

here's a couple rough sketches i did just now, sorry for the bad quality. the one on the left is Psylocke of X-men. she's one of my fav female characters. the other one is just some random thing i thought of right now
