PENCIL EEL?????????????????

WTF is this?
I saw it today, at a LFS - it is probably about 16 inches in length, and not even pencil thickness.

It buries itself immediately under gravel (tail first) if uncovered. Too fast to even get a look at it. It was tan in color.

What is it????!!!!????

Was it in saltwater? If so, my guess would be that it is the spaghetti eel.

It is not a snake.
It is exactly as I described it. An Erpeton is vastly different.

sounds cool, i've seen saltwater eels do that but never FW
