not liking this filter at all.Ive tried cleaning the slots the wheel sits in and cleaning the intake even tried taking one of the extensions of the intake nothings working.anyone ever have this problem?I'm thinking swapping with a new ac 110.if i cant get it to work..

clean the gunk off the wheel in a bucket of tank water...reinsert.enjoy.......:)

drsfosterandsmith.com says swish it around in tank water and put it back in. but you should get the ac 110 anyways lol

Biowheel sucks, stick with AC.

I would think if the wheel stopped working that the top end has dried out and it just needs a good rinse out in the tank as was stated. But you went and got the better filter, I would hold onto the penguin case you need an emergency filter. I dont think the wheels are the most important part of the filter but they do suck.

I have a few Penguin 350B's and when the wheels began to slow down/stop
I know that the filters are getting dirty/clogged and either need to be cleaned or
replaced. When the flow of water is restricted, this reduces the pressure needed
to turn the wheels.

I was going to say the same thing.
