Pentair 180 brand new blue coating flaking off?

Hello every one I just received a Pentair 180 gallon inside demensions 60L x 30Wx 24T. I got it uncrated and inside it was very dirty so I started wiping it out with wep paper towels and blue flakes of the gel coat are just falling off. it is chipping off it other places and can see were it I messed up. I'm not overly familiar with these this is the first one I bought and have never seen another one in person. Is this something to be concerned about. Is whats falling off extra like it was applied to thick or a bigger issue then that thanks.

This happened to another member. They had difficulty dealing with pentair. The chipping eventually stopped and they continued to use it. Do a search and you’ll find the thread.

ya I have read that thread. Stupide me I actualy read it before I ever bought one of these didn't figure it would happen again whats the chance right. there never was a conclusion to that thread I did find the updated thread of it. This tank is beat to all hell is crazy. I will leave the companys name I bought it from nameless for now. The person I dealt with to get it, and have it shipped, said today he is going to try and be refunded by Pentair and refund me we will see how that goes I am not holding my breath.
