After quickly looking over many threads I didnt come across any on bad people food- like what should be avoided, for example- chocolate or chicken bones to your dog. I was going to give my fei feng, D. sexfaciatus, and GG a slice of honeydew off the one I was eating but had never heard yay or nay about it so they went honeydewless. I can see citrus possibly causing an acidity change in the water but again Im not positive. I would say between the shrimp, fish, peas, and zucchini, up to 90% of my fish food is from the supermarket. Does anybody have any thoughts on this. Thanks.

I frequently feed veggies to fish that eat them. I don't think that melons have all that much acidity. I thinl a small piece would be fine to try.

Right, I know the melons arent acidic, I was just saying melon because thats what I was eating at the time. I think citrus probably wouldnt be good for that reason though. But do you know of anything else to stay strictly away from. And what about meat or fish. Arent pork and catfish too oily?
