Ironically enough cannibalism is not illegal in most countries. In the USA hypothetically an adherent of a cannible cult could voluntarily commit suicide (a crime) and the others use him to make soup and the only crimes that the eaters would be guilty of (as long as they did not assist the suicide) are improper disposal of human remains, and possibly hindering a coroner's inquest, both of those are I believe, misdemeanors.shekes said:Not only this Iman, but pretty much everybody claiming to represent Islam directly or indirectly (I saw/heard/read) maintains that intolerance is an intrinsic property of their teachings.
Is that true? Must I (according to Islam) become a Moslem or else be their enemy?
Is Islam really inherently intolerant, or is that just one interpretation of it?
Afterall there are plenty of intolerant Jews/Cristians/andwhatnot as well. But these religions aren't inherently intolerant.
If indeed Islam ALWAYS preaches intolerance, why is it at all legal?
If I were to start a new religion that had (for example) Cannibalism among its "commandments", it'd be declared illegal by most/all Western nations. But Islam is/was not.

In one city park in Montreal on Sunday you can see large groupes of Sikhs in exotic clothing wearing real SWORDS! (Not "small daggers" - but fullsized swords) They look like some ancient warriors or something. But they are perfectly peaceful. So it's cool. I'm sure if their religion taught them to behead the heretics, they'd be banned.

Sort of off track but amusing.
